Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher places, levels, smooths, and finishes concrete surfaces to specified grade and quality standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Spread, level, and smooth freshly poured concrete
• Use hand and power tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers
• Apply surface finishes (broom, smooth, stamped, or textured)
• Check concrete depth and alignment to ensure proper grade and slope
• Cut control joints and edges
• Repair surface defects and finish imperfections
• Cure and protect concrete surfaces
• Coordinate with laborers and form setters
• Follow safety and quality standards

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Understanding of grade, slope, and surface tolerances
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a concrete finisher preferred
• Ability to work long hours and in hot or cold conditions
• Physical ability to kneel, bend, and stand for long period

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically related to trench safety and confined spaces.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, spec, and survey layouts.
• Knowledge of materials and techniques as they pertain to underground utility work.
• Proficient in using grade check tools, lasers, and levels.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience, with at least one (1) in a supervisory role, in the installation of underground utilities and infrastructure on heavy civil construction projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of how to properly operate and maintain the correct equipment necessary to complete the task at hand (i.e excavator, compactors, front-end loaders).
• Sufficient understanding of best trench safety practices and knowledge of soil type classifications specific to our region.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate daily activities of underground crew members including laborers, operators, and pipelayers.
• Ability to plan, layout, and oversee the installation of water, sewer, storm drain systems, manholes, and the like.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, survey data, specifications, ect.
• Accurately record into iPad and maintain daily reports, crew timesheets, equipment logs, and safety documents as needed.

• Advance knowledge of grading and ability to operate motor graders of various sizes/models.
• Prior knowledge of materials and techniques as they pertain to earthwork and fine grading.
• Knowledge of HCSS Field/360 Equipment and Trimble GPS System is a plus. 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and survey markers and stakes.
• Bilingual preferred but not a requirement for this position.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with foreman, supervisors, and fellow team members.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mass earthwork and precision, surface grading on heavy civil construction projects (i.e. roads, runways building pads, slopes, ect.).
• Ability to run a motor grader is a requirement for this position, however, the ideal candidate will also have experience operating front-end loaders, scrappers, gannons, compactors, and the like.
• Experience operating GPS, preferably Trimble, systems for rough and finish grade is ideal for this position but not a deterrent for hiring; we are willing to train the right person on GPS equipment. 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and survey markers and stakes.
• Inspect equipment for deficiencies and report them in a timely manner to grading foreman/superintendent.
• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow all OSHA best practices/DPE company safety policies.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Equipment Operator operates one or more types of construction equipment used in asphalt paving, grading, excavation, and site preparation

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment such as rollers, graders, loaders, excavators, pavers, skid steers, or dozers
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Safely maneuver equipment around personnel and obstacles
• Load, move, and grade materials according to project specifications
• Maintain proper grade, slope, and compaction
• Communicate with foremen and ground crew to coordinate work
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Keep equipment clean and report mechanical issues

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in operating heavy construction equipment

Job Summary:

The CDL Driver operates commercial trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dump trucks, flatbeds, lowboys, or other commercial vehicles
• Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Secure loads and ensure proper weight distribution
• Maintain accurate delivery and trip records
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Communicate with dispatch, foremen, and supervisors
• Keep truck clean and report mechanical issues
